Public Safety

Supporting law enforcement and first responders to keep Ward 5 safe and secure.

Public safety is the most fundamental responsibility of city government. Ward 5 residents expect and deserve timely police response, effective fire protection, and well-coordinated emergency services. Pat Roseland will make sure our public safety professionals have the resources they need.

Beyond funding, Pat believes in a collaborative approach to public safety that includes community policing, neighborhood watch partnerships, and proactive engagement between residents and the officers who serve them.

Addressing root causes like substance abuse, mental health, and homelessness is also part of a comprehensive safety strategy. Pat supports programs that connect people with services before situations escalate into emergencies.
